Roof geometry. Steep pitches and complex angles slow placement down. Older homes in established Wake County neighborhoods often have more complicated rooflines than newer builds.

What gets lit. Roofline only is the baseline. Wrapping trees, lighting shrubs, running walkway markers, and adding wreaths or garland each add material and labor.

The line items that actually matter
