What we collect

When you contact us for an estimate, whether through the form on this website, by phone or text, or through a form on Facebook or Instagram, we collect the information you give us. That is typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of the work you want done. Sometimes you send photos of the area, which we keep with the job record.

We collect this because we cannot quote or perform work without it. Nothing on our forms is required beyond what we need to reach you and price the job.

What we do with it

We use your information to:

• Respond to your request and send you a quote
• Schedule and perform the work
• Invoice you and take payment
• Follow up about your service, and occasionally let you know about seasonal work like fall aeration or holiday lighting

If you would rather not hear from us about seasonal services, reply to any message and say so. We will stop.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of services to run the business. Your information reaches them only for the purpose listed:

• Jobber, our scheduling and invoicing software, which holds your customer record, quotes, jobs and invoices
• Resend, which delivers the email that reaches us when you submit the form on this site
• Google Analytics, which tells us which pages people visit. This is anonymous traffic data and is not tied to your name
• Meta, if you contacted us through a form on Facebook or Instagram, in which case Meta collects the form submission and passes it to us. Meta's own privacy policy governs what they do with it

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We do not share it with other contractors or lead-selling services.

Website analytics and cookies

This site records basic, anonymous activity: which pages get viewed, roughly how long a visit lasts, which site referred you, and whether you clicked the phone or text button. This is tied to a random session identifier, not to you. We use it to understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work normally.

Text messages

If you text us or give us your number, we may text you back about your estimate, scheduling, or the work itself. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time and we will not text you again.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward, so we have your service history if you come back. If you asked for a quote and never booked, we keep that inquiry for about a year.

Getting your information removed

Ask us and we will delete it. Call or text 919-777-4103 or email ben@exteriorsummit.com. We will confirm once it is done. The only thing we may need to keep is records tied to completed invoices, since those are business and tax records.

Children

This is a home services business. Our site and forms are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
